Rustavi: on May
9, 2014 about 180 participants (school civic club members, teachers, residents)
joined solidarity action held at central square across the city hall. The date
and time to hold the action was coordinated with local government. On the event
organizers invited three registered candidates for mayor, regional TV, partner
schools and organizations.
The event
started at 18:00. Students brought and exhibited posters and art work related
to topic. Two mayor candidates, Mr. Mamuka Chikovani and Mr. Alexander Kobaidze
came to the event. They shared their view with young people on Global Action
week, problems and solutions.
Action
organizers distributed informational materials among participants and local
residents.
Regional TV prepared and
covered the story about Global Action Week.
